Today the grade 4’s, groups 1 and 3 had the opportunity to have a conference call with their Pen Pals in South Africa which was led and guided by Mr Marius and Miss Anna from Primakov Gymnasium and Miss Gardiner from Cowan House Preparatory School. The children all participated in conversations with their Pen Pals. They thouroughly enjoyed asking and answering questions about South Africa and Russia. The groups have also written numerous letters to each other which encourages creative writing, communication and offers
a great opportunity to learn about various cultures, countries, through the use of the English language.
