Last week's assembly topic was 'Listen Before You Talk.' Year 1 Happy Hedgehogs group presented on the topic and talked about the importance of listening.
We presented several practical steps you can take to be a good listener in school, including:
✅Look at and face the person who is talking,
✅Listen with your ears and wait your turn to talk,
✅Keep your hands and feet still,
✅Think and care about what the person is saying.
Being a good listener is important quality for being a good friend, a successful student and a leader!
